One Girl, inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in NYC dedicated to developing and strengthening its members through charity, advocacy, and community organizing. It seeks to advance the plight of women at home and abroad by developing its members into social change agents through leadership training, community service and transformative work.
Initially joining the team as a graphic design intern in the summer of 2018, I became the sole designer who, alongside the Director of Public Affairs, soon took creative direction in refurnishing One Girl’s visual identity. This included designing a new promotional brochure, developing and curating all social media content, as well as other offline marketing collateral. After interning, I was approached to take lead in producing all graphic content for One Girl’s largest, most important event of the year: Women In Charge. For the third year in a row, the Women In Charge conference was a panel uniting women from all walks of life to share their expertise and experiences with the community. With a low budget in mind, I delivered designs for merchandise items such as stickers, a full digital brochure detailing the day of the event and the panelists, digital banners, print signage, and of course, social media graphics.
